Virginia Forest Watch and other groups are planning a special
public event calling for the protection of the George Washington
and Jefferson National Forest. Join speakers and other activists
in speaking up for the forests! The George Washington and
Jefferson National Forest is one of the most biologically diverse
in the nation, but is threatened by logging, roadbuilding, gas
development, and off-highway vehicles. For more information
